Public Community Alpha · Experimental · Use at your own risk

Future-Proof value protection starts with QRX.

QRX is planned as a blockchain for protecting value in the future — designed from the ground up with a quantum-aware architecture, hybrid transaction signatures (Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65), flexible fork-based evolution, community participation, staking, slashing, and long-term upgradeability in mind. The network token is planned as QubitCoin, while QRX remains the network and ecosystem brand.

Today, you can participate in the community alpha. Early contributors may earn badges and future recognition. Later network upgrades may introduce premium node grades for recognized operators and early contributors.

Hybrid signatures live Hybrid transaction signatures using Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65 are already part of the current direction and implementation path.
Built from scratch No Bitcoin or Ethereum clone. QRX is its own blockchain engine, network path and upgrade story.

What alpha participants can aim for

  • 🏅Alpha participation badges for early community members and node operators.
  • Reputation and visibility through uptime, participation and community trust.
  • 💎Potential premium node grades in a later fork or upgrade path, based on defined network rules.
⚠️ Important alpha disclaimer

QRX is experimental software. The alpha is intended for testing, community growth and network learning. It should not be treated as enterprise-grade infrastructure or relied on for significant real-world value.

Why QRX?

QRX is not positioned as “better Bitcoin today.” It is positioned as an experiment in what a future-oriented value network could look like when designed for adaptability, fork-driven evolution, community ownership, hybrid cryptography, and lower-barrier participation.

🔐

Hybrid cryptography path

QRX already points toward a hybrid transaction signature model using Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65, giving the project a more future-aware path than legacy classical-only chains.

🧱

Independent architecture

QRX is built from scratch instead of inheriting old assumptions. That gives the project more room to experiment with staking, slashing, penalty redistribution and future upgrade paths.

🌐

Community-first network growth

Bitcoin now feels heavily institutional in many parts of the market. QRX is built to let regular users still join early, run nodes, stake, participate and help shape the network directly.

Low-energy participation

Unlike Proof-of-Work systems, QRX is designed around staking and validator participation. That means a dramatically lower energy profile and a more practical path for low-cost servers and lightweight SBC-class hardware.

Current phase: Community Alpha

Right now, the most important thing is to grow a real community around the network and let people stress-test it in practice. That includes running nodes, testing staking flows, observing slashing behavior and helping shape future releases.

  • Public alpha participation for node operators and early adopters
  • Badges for participation, contribution and uptime milestones
  • Potential premium node grades in later forks or network upgrades
  • QubitCoin as the planned native currency under the QRX network brand

Accessible by design

One of QRX’s strongest messages is openness. Instead of a network that feels increasingly dominated by industrial-scale mining, QRX aims to keep participation viable for ordinary users with relatively low technical and hardware requirements.

  • No Proof-of-Work mining arms race
  • Lower energy burden than Bitcoin-style mining
  • More realistic for low-cost VPS and SBC-class deployments
  • Early participants can build visible network status over time

QRX vs Bitcoin

QRX should not be framed as “replacing Bitcoin.” The better framing is that QRX explores design choices that are hard to retrofit into older systems.

Feature QRX / QubitCoin Bitcoin
Starting point Built from scratch with a future-focused roadmap Legacy system designed in an earlier era
Hashing approach Quantum-aware design path with SHA-3-oriented migration thinking SHA-256 based
Transaction signatures Hybrid transaction signatures implemented: Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65 Classical signature model
Quantum strategy Built with post-quantum migration and resistance in mind from the start Would require upgrades and migration pressure later
Consensus direction Experimental staking / BFT-style evolution path Proof of Work
Energy demand Designed for low-energy staking and validator participation High energy demand due to Proof of Work mining
Node hardware path More suitable for low-cost servers and lightweight SBC-class node setups Mining is specialized and hardware-intensive
Participation model Open alpha with lower technical barriers for early users and node operators Increasingly institutional and industrial in practical participation
Upgrade flexibility Higher flexibility through fork-based evolution Slower and more conservative upgrade culture
Early reputation Badges, node grades and community recognition can be designed in Not part of the original network design

QRX is currently in public alpha. Hybrid transaction signatures are already part of the current implementation path, while broader consensus-wide cryptographic evolution remains part of the ongoing roadmap.

Whitepaper direction

The QRX whitepaper is intended to document the long-term design path of the network: hybrid transaction signatures, future-oriented value protection, staking, slashing, penalty redistribution, fork-based evolution, and a more accessible participation model than industrial-scale Proof-of-Work systems.

  • QRX as network and ecosystem brand
  • QubitCoin as the planned native currency
  • Hybrid transaction signatures: Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65
  • Lower-energy participation path through staking and validators

What the whitepaper should cover

  • Network architecture and node roles
  • Tokenomics, supply caps and reward schedule
  • Validator incentives, slashing and redistribution
  • Roadmap for broader hybrid / post-quantum cryptography
  • Alpha disclaimers, forks and upgrade policy

Run a node in the alpha

The alpha is the right time to join if you want to help shape the network, test the daemon, participate in the community and earn early recognition.

git clone https://github.com/your-org/qrx
cd qrx
cmake -S . -B build
cmake --build build -j

export QRX_PASSPHRASE=testpass

./build/qrxd --network alpha --datadir ~/.qrx --wallet mynode --listen 0.0.0.0:26661

What users can already do

  • Run nodes and connect to the network
  • Send and receive QubitCoin with hybrid transaction signatures
  • View wallet history
  • Stake and delegate
  • Observe rewards, slashing and penalty redistribution
  • Experiment with low-cost node participation instead of Proof-of-Work mining

Join the QRX public alpha now.

Run a node, help test the network, earn early recognition, and become part of a project built around future value protection, hybrid cryptography, lower energy participation, and post-quantum evolution from the ground up.
